Two 1956 Lincoln sedans. The one on the left (White over Desert Buff) is a 1956 Lincoln Premiere which my grandfather purchased new and has always been in the family. It has factory A/C and he bought it to take my mother to her wedding, in Oklahoma, in August, in air-conditioned comfort. My sister and I grew up in the car in Detroit and Cleveland (road salt damage much?). Though it is not in running condition, I can't bear to give it up. The leather interior is still in pretty good condition.
The one on the right (Silver over Balmoral Gray Metallic) is a 1956 Lincoln Capri. I purchased it this past October from a collector in Spring Branch (outside New Braunfels), TX. It was cosmetically restored in the early '90s, shown extensively through the mid-90s in Tennessee, then the collector in Spring Branch purchased it and put it away. It came with the back seat and trunk full of trophies.
