The Georgetown Texas Area Car Club (GTACC) was founded in 2005 by five Georgetown car enthusiasts who wanted to get together with other enthusiasts, have fun, and share their passion for antique and classic cars with others in the Georgetown area. The club has more than one hundred members now.

The primary activity of the club is to host an annual charity car show. From the car show proceeds, GTACC awards scholarships to graduating Georgetown HS and East East HS Seniors who have completed the Auto Tech Program.
In 2026, the club awarded scholarships to three graduating seniors totaling $7,500 at the 19th Annual Car Show and Charity Benefits on May 2, 2026.

GTACC promotes the ownership and enjoyment of classic, vintage, and antique vehicles while supporting the local community with scholarship and other charitable grants. The Club is a registered IRC 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt Social and Recreation Club.
